Can a subscription tier unlock only one of my projects?

Short answer: Yes - that is the only way tiers work. Every membership tier is bound to exactly one project, so a tier never reaches across your catalog. If you want members on two projects, create a tier on each.

How subscription tiers work today

When you create a subscription tier, access granted by that tier applies to your content broadly, not to one specific project. Readers who subscribe at a given tier gain the benefits you've defined for that tier across your published work.

When might per-project scoping become available?

This capability is on Vizno's longer-term roadmap but is not part of the current feature set. There is no timeline to share yet. If demand for per-project scoping grows, it may be introduced in a future release. Until then, use episode gating or pricing at the individual episode level if you need to restrict access to content within a specific project.

Workarounds in the meantime

If you want to offer exclusive access to a single project, consider these alternatives:

  • Episode gating: Lock individual episodes behind a one-time purchase rather than a subscription.
  • Tier naming and description: Clearly describe in your tier copy which projects or content types the tier is intended for, so readers self-select appropriately.

These approaches give you meaningful control over access without requiring per-project tier scoping.
