Short answer: A project counts as "published" for subscription tier eligibility when it has passed Vizno's pre-publication review and is actively visible in the catalog. Simply saving a project or marking it as non-draft is not enough - the project must have cleared the review process and be discoverable by readers.
What "passed pre-publication review and visible in catalog" means
Before a project qualifies, two conditions must both be true:
- Pre-publication review passed. Vizno reviews projects before they go live. Your project must have completed that review successfully.
- Visible in the catalog. The project must appear in the Vizno catalog where readers can find it. Projects that are hidden, unlisted, or otherwise removed from catalog visibility do not satisfy this requirement, even if they previously passed review.
Both conditions must be met at the same time. A project that passed review but was later removed from the catalog would no longer count.
What does not qualify
The following project states do not count toward the "≥ 1 published project" requirement:
- Draft projects - work in progress that has not been submitted for or completed pre-publication review.
- Hidden or unlisted projects - projects not visible in the catalog, regardless of their review status.
- Projects pending review - submitted but not yet approved projects.
When eligibility is checked
Subscription tier eligibility is evaluated against your catalog presence at the time you apply or qualify for a tier. If your only qualifying project is later removed from the catalog, your eligibility may be affected. Keep your published project in good standing to maintain access to subscription tier features.
