Complaints and Content Removal Policy
Effective July 9, 2026
Anyone can report content on Vizno they believe is illegal or violates our Standards. This policy explains how to report it, how we review and resolve reports within five business days, how to appeal, and the outcomes a review can reach.
Vizno takes complaints seriously. Anyone - whether or not they hold a Vizno account - may report content on the Service that they believe is illegal or otherwise violates our Content Policy and the standards in our Terms of Service (together, the "Standards"). This policy explains how to report content, how we review and resolve reports, how to appeal a decision, and the outcomes a review can reach.
1. How to report content
You can report content that may be illegal or that violates the Standards in any of these ways:
- Use the in-product report control on the content, where available.
- Email reports@vizno.com (illegal content or Standards violations) or safety@vizno.com (safety and conduct concerns).
- Submit a request through the hosted complaints / take down request form.
To help us act quickly, include a link to the content, a description of the problem, and any information showing why the content may be illegal or violate the Standards.
To report a copyright infringement specifically, follow the DMCA process in the Terms of Service.
2. Review and resolution
We acknowledge every report we receive. All reported complaints are reviewed and resolved within five business days. Reports of content that is illegal - including child sexual abuse material and non-consensual intimate imagery - are escalated immediately and acted on within 24 hours, ahead of the standard window.
Our review process is:
- Intake. The report is logged and acknowledged.
- Assessment. A reviewer evaluates the reported content against the Standards and applicable law, gathering additional information from the reporter or the creator where needed.
- Decision. We decide whether the content stays up, is removed or restricted, or requires changes, and we record the reason.
- Notice. We notify the reporter of the outcome and, where a creator's content is affected, notify the creator with the reason and their appeal rights.
3. Appeals
If you disagree with a decision, you may appeal by emailing appeals@vizno.com within 30 days of the decision. Include the original reference, the decision you are appealing, and why you believe it was wrong. We review appeals on the merits and respond within 14 days. An appeal does not restore content that is unlawful or poses imminent harm while the appeal is under review.
4. Removal and appeals for depicted persons
Any person depicted in content on the Service may request its removal, whether or not they hold a Vizno account, by emailing appeals@vizno.com. We will remove the content where our review determines that consent to the depiction was not given, has been withdrawn, or is void under applicable law.
If a depicted person disagrees with the outcome of their appeal, the dispute will be resolved by a neutral third party, and Vizno will bear the cost of that resolution.
5. Possible outcomes
A review or investigation may result in any of the following:
- No action - the content does not violate the Standards or the law and remains available.
- Required changes - the creator must correct tagging, ratings, or other issues before the content stays or returns.
- Removal or restriction - the content is taken down or its visibility is limited.
- Account action - depending on severity and history, a warning, suspension, or termination of the responsible account.
- Referral to authorities - where content may be unlawful, referral to law enforcement and, for child sexual abuse material, a report to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) as required by law.
