Short answer: In Forge, open the Launch menu at the top right and choose Share. Vizno takes a snapshot of your game as it is at that moment and gives you a link. Anyone with a Vizno account can open the link and play your game in their browser - full screen, no editor, nothing to install. The link serves that frozen snapshot: keep editing freely afterward and the shared version doesn't change until you press Share again, at which point the same link starts serving the newer snapshot. A link lasts 10 days from your last Share press, and you can kill it or move it to a new address at any time. Sharing is not publishing - your game never appears in the catalog.
Creating and updating the link
Press Share and the link appears right in the menu with Copy and Open buttons, along with the date it expires. Each project has one share link. While the link is live, pressing Share again replaces what it serves with a fresh snapshot at the same address - no need to re-send it to anyone - and restarts its 10-day clock.
You're sharing a snapshot, not a live view
The link serves a frozen copy of your story taken at the moment you pressed Share. Edits you make afterward stay private, no matter how much you change, until you press Share again. Two things do stay current on the link: your project's title and the reader-facing settings on your project's Settings page (save behavior, skip policy, and the like). Rename the project and the shared build picks up the new name immediately - the story itself stays frozen.
Who can open it
Viewers must be signed in to a Vizno account. A signed-out visitor who opens the link is asked to sign in first, then lands in your game. If your game is rated adult, viewers must also confirm their age before it opens - a share link never skips the age gate. The game plays as a bare full-screen experience with no editing tools; the in-player menu carries a "Shared build" tag so testers know what they're looking at.
Stopping or replacing the link
Two controls sit under the link in the Launch menu:
- Stop sharing kills the link immediately. Anyone opening it afterward finds nothing there.
- Reset link moves your share to a new address on the spot; the old address stops working for everyone. Use it when a link has spread further than you'd like.
Once a link is dead - stopped, reset away, or expired - it never comes back to life: pressing Share again always creates a fresh address, so send the new link out to your testers. Deleting the project kills its link too.
Sharing is not publishing
A share link never lists your game in the catalog and doesn't change your project's publication status in any way. When you're ready for a real release, use the publish flow instead.
Know the limits
- One link per project. There's no list of separate links to manage.
- Links expire after 10 days. The clock runs from your last Share press and isn't adjustable; the Launch menu shows the date, and any Share press renews the full 10 days. An expired link stops working just like a stopped one.
- No per-person access. Any signed-in Vizno account with the link can play (plus the age check on adult-rated games), so share it with people you trust - Stop sharing and Reset link are how you take it back.
